Diana Tavares launches her second novel

After “At 8 pm in the usual place”, her debut novel, on the market since last May, Diana Tavares from Severense is preparing to launch her second book, which she titled “The stars that listen to us”. «I started writing this story in 2023, a few days after finishing my first book. I felt there was more to tell, that there were countless characters in my mind who also deserved a story», the author tells Diário de Aveiro. The protagonist, Beatriz, deals with “challenges” faced by women.
“From motherhood to insecurities about our bodies, professional challenges and all the times we see our wings being clipped. Beatriz is the woman who stops being a woman, to become just a mother. She is the woman who carries the world on her shoulders and who prioritizes everyone around her”, describes Diana Tavares.
