Out-of-control car drives into traffic stop in Queluz

Seven people were injured, one seriously, after a car lost control and crashed into a bus stop in the Queluz region of Sintra at 10:58 am on Tuesday. The information was provided by Correio da Manhã and confirmed by Observador with the Queluz Fire Department.

CM reports that it was a collision between two cars that ended with one of them swerving into the bus stop, information that Observador was unable to confirm. Among the injured is the driver of the out-of-control vehicle, although the firefighters did not specify her health condition.

The seriously injured person, as well as two of the slightly injured, were taken to the Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon. The remaining four, all with minor injuries, were taken to the Amadora-Sintra Hospital.

Firefighters, two Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicles (VMER) and the Public Security Police (PSP), who are investigating the incident, were at the scene of the accident.
