CASCI celebrates 45 years with a concert by Buba Espinho.

As part of its 45th anniversary celebrations, the Social Action Center of the Municipality of Ílhavo (CASCI) will be promoting a series of cultural initiatives this afternoon at the Ílhavo Cultural Center, with the support of the municipality. One of the most anticipated events is the concert by Buba Espinho, stage name of Bernardo Ramos Ribeiro Ferraz Espinho, one of the most renowned performers of traditional Portuguese music, who promises to enchant the audience with his unique voice and sound. Fado and Alentejo singing mark the musical career of Buba Espinho, a native of Beja, who is influenced by various genres, including pop and urban sounds. Preserving the traditions of Portuguese music is his main objective, while reinventing them and presenting them to a younger audience. Alongside this concert, there will also be the premiere of “Dja Guata Porã”, the new creation by the Fanf'Arte Group, under the artistic direction of Suzanna Rosas. This is an Inclusive Dance performance, integrated into the Fan'Art 2025 project, co-financed by the INR, IP Project Funding Program. This artistic work brings together people of different ages, with and without disabilities, in a show that celebrates Inclusion through Art.
The celebrations will also include the official presentation of the CASCI 2025 Nativity Scene, an exclusive work limited to 100 units, which combines creativity, tradition and Christmas symbolism.
