In addition to an exhibition and book sales area, the event promoted by Aveiro City Council includes concerts, interviews, debate panels, book presentations, concert-talks, children's programming and autograph sessions.
According to a note from the city council, this edition will feature 15 exhibitors and one of the main highlights will be the participation of international guests.
Guests include Bruna Lombardi, actress, poet and author of bestsellers such as 'Jogo da Felicidade', 'Poesia Reunida' and 'Clímax', and Marcelo Rubens Paiva, writer, playwright and columnist, author of several autobiographical and fictional works, among which 'Ainda Estou Aqui' stands out.
Representing the United Kingdom will be Bobby Duffy, professor at King's College London and author of the book 'The Perils of Perception', a work that analyses the cognitive biases caused by social perceptions, such as the perception of insecurity or inequality.
Among the national authors, the presence of Isabela Figueiredo, who will present her most recent work 'Um Cão no Meio do Caminho', the president of Agência Lusa, Nicolau Santos, who will be presenting the novel 'Amarelo Tango', and the bestselling author Pedro Chagas Freitas.
The musical programme for this edition combines concerts with moments of conversation, with highlights including the show with David Fonseca and the return of Mesa, a band from Porto led by João Pedro Coimbra, who celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album with iconic songs that marked a generation.
The program includes sessions dedicated to Aveiro authors and the children's space 'Lilliput', dedicated to the little ones.
All sessions are free of charge and take place at the Mercado do Peixe, at the same time as the exhibition and book sales space, in Rossio.
