Up to PLN 5,000 for children's holidays. This is how you can get funding

In the pool created for children and youth holidays, a total of PLN 500,000 awaits. Everything was organized as part of the fifth edition of the AktywAKCJA grant program. The important deadline for submitting applications will soon pass. Anyone who wants to take advantage should hurry up.

Holiday subsidies

What is the aforementioned AktywAKCJA program? The PFR Foundation, a non-profit organization established by the Polish Development Fund, stands behind it. For years, it has been conducting long-term activities in the field of education, innovation, culture and art. Now it's time for vacation subsidies again.

Associations, community centers, community centers, youth organizations and other similar entities can participate in the program. What counts is to implement activities for children and youth and to have original ideas for interesting recreation for people from different cities and villages. Up to 100 best projects will receive financial support.

The stays must meet several aspects. They must take place in Poland between June 28 and August 31, take into account cultural heritage, support environmental protection and refer to sustainable development. In addition, they must activate children and young people - educationally and recreationally.

How to get money?

The application for funding should be submitted via the website fundacjapfr.pl. There, you must submit your project for holiday activities for the youngest. Initiatives from provinces such as Lublin, Podlaskie, Podkarpackie, Świętokrzyskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie have a particularly good chance – they are to be additionally scored.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 19, and the results will be announced on May 23. Facilities that qualify and receive funding will accept children for summer activities completely free of charge.

It is worth remembering that you can still apply for other funding, including PLN 1,200 for attractive summer vacations for children of farmers. This is money from the Farmers' Social Insurance Contribution Fund. You will be able to send a child up to 16 years of age to summer camps, including popular seaside resorts, mountain resorts and Masuria. The out-of-pocket cost that you have to cover is PLN 900.
