Magda Butrym has created a new it-bag. The bag refers to her Polish roots

Metropolitan, sophisticated and extremely practical – Magda Butrym's new bag combines the spirit of Warsaw with international style. Will Varsovia become the new favorite of influencers and fashion editors?

Every city has its own bag – Paris has Chanel 2.55, New York carries Telfar, and now Warsaw can boast Varsovia . Magda Butrym , a designer with a Polish heart and a global portfolio, proves once again that she can speak the universal language of fashion, but with a distinct, local accent.

Varsovia is a nod to the classic in a completely new edition. Inspired by the traditional duffle bag , an elegant travel bag, it gains lightness and femininity thanks to rounded lines and a subtle flower-shaped pendant - a characteristic detail recognizable in Butrym's aesthetic.

Urban elegance in four versions

Made of the highest quality leather, available in four colours – intense red, deep burgundy, grey and timeless black – Varsovia comes in two finishes: classic and suede. It can be carried in the hand or slung over the shoulder – it all depends on the mood and plans for the day. The bag can be purchased in the designer's online boutique for PLN 12,350.

Butrym speaks to women who value functionality, but in the best style. Varsovia will hold everything you need – from a notebook to lipstick – and will work well both at work and on a weekend trip. It looks great with a girly floral dress, but also with an oversized bomber and jeans.

Hailey Bieber, Katie Holmes, Beyoncé – all of them already wear Magda Butrym's designs. So we won't be surprised if any day now one of them shows up with Varsovia on her arm. And then? Well, Warsaw will have its own icon – not only on the map, but also in fashion.
