Cheap and beautiful alternative to Croatia. It's not about Albania at all

Located in the heart of the Balkans, Montenegro can be a great option for a vacation at a good price. While tourists have been complaining about high prices in Croatia for over a year, another Balkan country can offer beautiful views, crystal clear Adriatic waters and a vacation in seaside resorts that won't break the bank.
Replace Croatia with this countryFrom several Polish cities to the capital of this country - Podgorica we can fly, among others, on board the low-cost airline Ryanair, and ticket prices in the peak season start from PLN 268 one way. You don't have to plan anything yourself - you can also find great last minute offers in travel agencies - for example, for a seven-day stay in the seaside city of Ulcinj from June 24 we will spend PLN 1,384 per person (breakfasts are included in the offer).
From Podgorica you can get to both the sea and Lake Skadar, which creates many possibilities for summer recreation. The most popular among tourists is the Budva Riviera - the Adriatic coast stretching for 35 km. It is there that we will find a well-developed tourist infrastructure, a 12-kilometer stretch of sandy beach and a rich accommodation base. According to eSky.pl data, a standard meal in local restaurants costs around 7-15 EUR (approx. 26.6-57 PLN). In popular towns such as Budva and Kotor they may be higher (approx. 45.6-95.2 PLN).
Where to go to the seaside in Montenegro? You can also book an all-inclusive holiday on the Bar Riviera, and as part of the attractions, you can buy a cruise on the Bay of Kotor with sightseeing. It is worth remembering that here you will find rather sandy and pebble beaches.
"Montenegro was the most beautiful, breathtaking place. No Greece or Croatia can match this place," one Polish tourist wrote on TikTok.
The online group of Montenegro enthusiasts from our country already has almost 50 thousand people. Perhaps this summer they will be joined by other Poles who will get to know the Balkans from a new perspective.
When looking for really cheap holiday deals, it is always worth considering Bulgaria. A beautiful alternative to the crowded resorts in Greece can be, for example, Sozopol.
