Attractions close to nature on the outskirts of Warsaw. The festival lasts until the end of May

A special announcement appeared, among others, on the Facebook page of the Kampinos National Park. It results from it that the Bielański Kampinos Festival began on May 10, which takes place as part of the aforementioned Days of the Kampinos Forest Region. This is a large event and important for nature lovers. If you like to explore wild areas, but do not like to do it alone, now you have the opportunity to take part in many organized events.

Bielański Kampinos Festival 2025

This is the first such event in this place. The Bielany Kampinos Festival is to encourage everyone to have fun together, integrate in the bosom of nature and in cultural institutions. "This is an initiative whose goal is to create space and encourage the residents of the district to discover the natural, cultural and historical values ​​of the Kampinos Forest." - we read on the website bielany.um.warszawa.pl.

Institutions and organizations related to the Kampinos Forest, specialists and researchers, as well as authors of publications devoted to the Kampinos Forest were invited to cooperate in organizing the event. It is known that the Bielany District Office and local units, including the Local Activity Place Samogłoska and Kasprowicza 14 or the Branch of the Bielany Cultural Center Estrada 112, were involved in the organization.

Attractions in Kampinos

Almost every day – up until May 30 inclusive – a different event or meeting related to the Kampinos Forest has been prepared. For example, on May 18, PowerRun will take place, i.e. workshops and training for runners for the Bielański Kampinos Festival. Those interested will set off at 10:30 from Polana Opaleń.

Importantly, admission to most events is free or costs a symbolic few złoty. All you have to do is show up, and in some cases sign up in advance – this includes the ecological workshops “Forest in a Jar” – during which the group will create plant compositions. All this on May 15th at the Library Branch at ul. Perzyńskiego 3.

What else can be expected from residents and tourists? The list includes walks through the dunes and marshes, a neighborhood picnic, the exhibition "Kampino Forest in the photographs of Zbyszek Siemaszko", a bike rally through the Kampinos Forest and a meeting with Filip Siemaszko and his wife Anna.
