The Medical Research Agency is investing in the future of biomedicine. Further courses for students and scientists are being launched.

The Medical Research Agency has launched further courses in practical biotechnology and pharmacokinetics at the Warsaw Health Innovation Hub. The programs aim to prepare students, graduates, and researchers for careers in the dynamically developing biomedical sector. International pharmaceutical companies are participating in the projects, combining theory with practice and supporting the development of future specialists.
The second edition of the Practical Biotechnology Course is aimed at graduate students and university graduates. The program covers four key areas: scientific research, legal regulations, industrial practice, and clinical trials.
As the organizers emphasize, the course aims not only to provide knowledge but also to inspire young people to develop their own ideas and explore career paths in the biomedical sector. This is where they have the opportunity to understand how theory meets practice.
The Agency's next initiative is the second edition of the Pharmacokinetics Course , dedicated to teaching staff, research staff, and scientists from research institutes. The course focuses on topics relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, including clinical trials and regulatory processes.
– The implementation of courses in the field of pharmacokinetics and practical biotechnology is not only an investment in the development of specialist competences, but above all a step towards building modern, interdisciplinary education that responds to the real needs of the biomedical sciences sector – emphasizes Karolina Nowak , Director of the Department of Innovation and International Cooperation at ABM.
Warsaw Health Innovation Hub Partners AstraZeneca Pharma Poland, MSD Polska, and Novo Nordisk were engaged to deliver the courses. This provides participants with access to expert knowledge and best practices from global pharmaceutical companies.
– The involvement of our experts in organizing the pharmacokinetics course, including the session “Organizing clinical trials in Poland step by step – the sponsor’s perspective”, allows us to support the scientific community by providing specialized knowledge and promoting best research practices – emphasizes Aneta Kwaśnik , Director of the Clinical Trials Department at MSD Polska.
The Medical Research Agency emphasizes combining academic knowledge with clinical and industrial practice. The course curriculum is also intended to stimulate the introduction of innovative teaching methods, ensuring that knowledge acquired during studies can be effectively applied in professional practice.
The organizers emphasize that such initiatives not only improve the competences of participants, but also strengthen the biomedical environment in Poland and prepare the ground for further innovations in healthcare.
