Orange will increase its activity in the Polish defense sector

Orange will increase its activity in the Polish defense sector

Orange Polska intends to take advantage of the situation related to the increase in spending on defense and security in our country.

This will apply to telecommunications services and those related to ICT (Information and Communications Technologies).

We are talking primarily about technologies for processing, storing and receiving information, as well as solutions for secure communication.

"We see growing potential in increasing defense and security spending and believe this is a great opportunity for us. We are very well positioned as a solid and reliable partner for both the public sector and private entities," says Orange Polska CEO Liudmila Climoc.

As Liudmila Climoc added, "Orange has a strategic cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense, to which we provide critical infrastructure elements and ICT services that support national security."

To ensure safe operations, Orange has introduced specialized IT solutions for military hospitals. It is also the largest provider of mobile telephony services to the military.

The company's main shareholders are Orange SA (50.67%) and OFE Allianz Polska (8.12%). Orange Polska has been listed on the stock exchange since November 1998.
