Princess Diana's Biggest Wardrobe Auction Coming Soon: You Can Buy Her Iconic Outfits

Princess Diana was one of the greatest style icons of her time. Her items have always been a hit at auction. Collectors will have the opportunity to expand their collections at the "Princess Diana's Style & A Royal Collection" auction, which will take place on June 26 in Beverly Hills.

The auction, billed as "the biggest auction of Lady Di's wardrobe ever", includes more than 200 pieces of Princess Diana memorabilia . Items up for sale include Bruce Oldfield's floral ensemble worn by Diana at the 1987 Royal Ascot.

Also up for auction are a floral Bellville Sassoon dress , a scarlet ski suit and a peach John Boyd hat worn by Diana on her honeymoon in 1981. Collectors will also be able to pick up the princess's shoes and handbags. Among the handbags is a Dior one that Diana received as a gift from the then First Lady of France, Bernadette Chirac, in 1995.

“This collection is not only the most comprehensive offering of Princess Diana’s wardrobe ever presented, but also a tribute to her elegance, grace, radiance and indomitable spirit,” said Martin Nolan , co-founder and CEO of Julien.

A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Muscular Dystrophy UK , which supports people with muscular dystrophy.
