Ulysse Nardin presents a true wonder. Modernity meets craftsmanship at the highest level

Ulysse Nardin limited edition Freak X Gold Enamel, the first watch in the Freak line with an enamel hour dial. Note! Available in only 120 pieces.
This is definitely an item that will interest watch collectors.
Ulysse Nardin has unveiled a limited edition timepiece that combines 21st century watchmaking innovation with tradition in an unlikely way. The Freak X Gold Enamel is the first time an enamel hour dial has been included in the Freak X collection.
Freak X Gold Enamel is a limited edition of 120 pieces, handcrafted in Le Locle, Switzerland . The watch features a deep blue guilloché-flinqué dial with an offset center and a radial pattern.

It is worth emphasizing that the dial is made of 22-karat rose gold , which was chosen primarily for its exceptional thermal stability , which allows it to survive extreme temperatures during firing in the kiln.
Each dial was created by hand for about eight hours. Successive layers of blue enamel were applied to the gold, fired at about 800 degrees Celsius, thanks to which it gained the appropriate depth , intensity and shine .

The art of enamelling has always held a special place in Ulysse Nardin's oeuvre. In 2011, the brand took over the Donzé Cadran 's atelier, which has mastered traditional enamelling techniques. It was this atelier that took care of the laborious but effective process of covering the Freak X Gold Enamel dial with enamel.
How much does Ulysse Nardin Freak X Gold Enamel cost? What else? The 43mm case is made of blue PVD titanium with rose gold side elements. The whole thing is completed by a blue alligator strap with gold stitching.
Freak X Gold Enamel offers a 72-hour power reserve and water resistance to 50 meters. Sounds good? It costs the same. The watch is already available for sale for $48.5 thousand, or about 180 thousand złoty.

Recall that the Freak line was introduced in 2001. It was the first to use silicon in the mechanism and abandon traditional solutions such as hands , dials and crowns . The Freak X, presented in 2019, developed this concept. In this model, the entire mechanism rotates to indicate the time. The hour is shown by an indicator on a rotating disk, and the mechanism itself makes a full rotation every hour to indicate the minutes.
