WhatsApp's blue circle becomes useful: AI will answer your questions with this simple gesture

At the beginning of April , we first reported on something new on WhatsApp that has since been causing quite a stir: Meta AI , the artificial intelligence from Mark Zuckerberg's company, was now available on the instant messaging app for users in Spain .
This new virtual assistant, identified with a blue circle , also arrived on other apps in the group, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger . We recall that the road has not been easy, as Meta initially had to halt the deployment of its AI in Europe due to strict data protection regulations .
However, despite efforts to bring this service to Europeans, Meta AI has not been well received, especially on WhatsApp , where the new blue button appears at the top of chats and cannot be removed or hidden without a trick . Although, according to the company, it is "an optional service."
New Meta AI features on WhatsAppOver the past few weeks, we've been learning about some of the features Meta is working on to enhance this tool. For example, the ability to ask the AI to summarize messages received in individual chats, groups, or channels. An option for the AI assistant to send scheduled messages is also being developed.
Now WhatsApp has activated a new feature that is already starting to be useful in everyday life: you can directly forward messages to Meta AI to get instant responses .
How does message forwarding to Meta AI work? The tool works very simply. If you receive a message, image, or voice note and want artificial intelligence to help you understand it, summarize it, or provide context, simply select it and tap "Forward." Among the options that appear for sharing that content, you'll see the Meta AI contact , identified by the blue circle.
Once forwarded, the assistant will process the information and offer you a response tailored to the content received : explanations, suggestions, additional information, or help writing a response.
