They will search for critical raw materials in Poland. The government has a plan

One of our priorities for the next part of our term is to increase access to critical raw materials for economic development . To this end, we want to implement a law facilitating the search for these raw materials in Poland," explains Paulina Hennig-Kloska, Minister of Climate and Environment, in an interview with money.pl.

The Ministry of Climate has just submitted a motion to include in the government's legislative work a draft resolution on the establishment of the Multiannual National Programme for the Search for Critical Raw Materials.

"The government's adoption of the Multiannual National Critical Raw Materials Exploration Program is intended to be the launch of the program. It implements the EU directive "The European Critical Raw Materials Act" (CRMA). Such national programs will then be subject to updating and review by the European Commission," adds the Minister of Climate and Environment.

A Resource Analysis Center (CAS) is also to be established, and the Department of Geology and the Chief National Geologist will be responsible for implementing the plan , money.pl reports.

The plan is to be phased depending on the raw material involved . It also assumes greater involvement of domestic companies in mining projects.
