The most charitable Cap Roig festival attracts 51,000 spectators.

Crooner Michael Bublé closed the Cap Roig festival last night, putting the finishing touches on a festival that celebrated a quarter of a century with 51,264 attendees, spread across 24 concerts—twelve of them sold out—between July 13 and August 19. This represents 89% occupancy. The lineup has not gone unnoticed: Simple Minds, Silvia Pérez Cruz, and Salvador Sobral sharing the stage, Franz Ferdinand, Tom Jones, and UB40 alongside national artists such as Sopa de Cabra, Ana Belén, Rosario, Amaral, and Joan Dausà, among others. Or Bublé himself, who in Calella de Palafrugell gave what was and will be—if there are no changes—his only performance in Spain.
Long gone are the days of 2001, when the festival held its first edition under the influence of Josep Carreras. Its longevity and renowned artists have helped consolidate Cap Roig as one of the summer's leading festivals.

CaixaBank's Director of Communications and Institutional Relations, María Luisa Martínez Gistau, emphasized that "to commemorate this very special edition, we have reinforced our social commitment by allocating part of the proceeds from each concert to five local organizations that promote charitable initiatives in the Girona and Baix Empordà regions": the Tramuntana Occupational Center, the POTS Association, the Doctor Josep Trueta University Hospital, the Vimar Foundation, and the Arcadi Armangué Barceló Foundation. Martínez Gistau also emphasized that it is "an honor to organize a festival that generates value and a positive impact on the region."
The president of the Clipper Group and festival director, Juli Guiu, described the edition as "unforgettable," "with a diverse and high-level program that resonated with diverse audiences, from established artists to new voices already shaping the future of music." In addition to the aforementioned artists, this year's performances also included The Tyets, Sebastián Yatra, Figa Flawas, Nil Moliner, Natalia Lafourcade, James Blunt, Siempre Así, Lax'n'Busto, Ara Malikian, Antonio Orozco, El Pot Petit, and Els Catarres. There were also culinary offerings from the Torres brothers and the gastronomic offerings of 21demarzo.
