Thanks, Rosco: ignore Feliciano López and persevere as a bullfighting TikToker.

I was saying a while ago on X that El Rosco's videos have been one of the great news stories of San Isidro. The best thing that could have happened to us. And the latest one is simply formidable: he sustains the thunderous voice of the "7" stands, the guiding light of the conspicuous fans, the beacon of the Madrid bullring, where Fernando Adrián and Borja Jiménez gave Morante de la Puebla a lesson last Sunday on how to perform the verónica. They explained it to him, in other words. He does it in rustic Spanish, but what matters is the message. The depth of the fan base he displays.
And this, which has bothered many, is nonetheless magnificent. Feliciano López even replied that he should open a tennis account so he can teach him how to serve. For me, on the other hand, it has been one of the greatest joys of the fair. Not only this latest video report, but the entire sequence of recordings of the fair. Rosco as a TikToker is priceless, and I would beg him not to listen to Feli and not open a tennis account and persevere with the bullfighting one.
El Rosco has showcased, for all to see, the new generations who have joined Las Ventas, what some of us have known for over 50 years. The youngsters who flocked to carry on their shoulders the greatest verónica performer of all time, one of the most important matadors in history, the one who has broken all the molds of the artist-bullfighter lineage, the best and most complete of them all, now know that El Rosco knows about bullfighting as much as the granite stone on which he has perched his ass for over half a century.
And so when they hear a bullfighter shouting with his thunderous voice from the "7," they'll laugh instead of following him. And that will be good. And for that, I sincerely thank you, Rosco.
