#LadySears throws sculpture at woman's head, sending her to the hospital

PUEBLA, Pue. (apro).- Karen Espinosa reported that she ended up in the hospital because a woman, now identified on social media as "Lady Sears," threw a metal sculpture at her head after an altercation over the purchase of the piece.
On the X platform, Espinosa released a video in which, from her hospital bed, she denounced that the Sears department store did not intervene to help her, nor to stop the person responsible for this attack that could have had greater consequences, even killing her.
She said it all happened on July 24th when she went to the store, located in the Angelópolis shopping center in this city, to buy some decorative items for her home.
He indicated that he had already decided to buy a metal elephant figurine that was on sale, so he left the object separately in a box.

The argument began when the other woman took the sculpture and other objects she had already set aside, so Espinosa clarified that she was going to buy them.
"So she started insulting me like that, really rudely, and I told her, 'I don't need to insult her. When the saleswoman comes, she'll tell her that she's going to charge me for those things,'" he said.

She added that after the employee confirmed that she had already separated the items, they began to struggle over the elephant figurine, until she decided to let her have it and ask the employee to stop arguing and charge her for the other items.
“I turned around and he told me that I was a cat, a maid, that my clothes were from a cheap market and that it was noticeable, and he started humiliating me like that, ugly, ugly... I told him: you know what, I'll give you the figure, ma'am, take it, do whatever you want, I don't need you to humiliate me, or to be called rude, it's really disrespectful... really, you're starving, ma'am,” she said.

He said that after that, he turned his back to pay at a register for other merchandise he was carrying, when he suddenly felt a strong blow because the woman threw the figure at his head.
“Fortunately, the blow was high, not to the back of the head, because that would have been the death of the woman,” he added. “She could have killed me there in the store, and no one did anything.”
She said that no one at the store helped her, nor did they take responsibility for restraining the woman who attacked her, so it was a doctor at the mall who examined her and recommended that she go to a hospital, where she was treated thanks to her health insurance.

She stated that as a result of the blow, she suffered a sprained neck and had to be hospitalized. On social media, she requested a review of the store's security cameras to identify her attacker, who was described as a woman over 60 years old. "One of those ladies who thinks that because they have social status they can humiliate people, promoters, they can humiliate anyone," described Karen Espinosa.
