Girona will host the Catalan debut of Brazilian sopranist Bruno de Sa

Sopranist Bruno de Sa will make his Catalan debut on January 25 at the Girona Auditorium, as part of the Ibercamera classical music series, which the city has hosted for the past twenty years.
Her performance will be one of the highlights of a ten-concert season between autumn and winter, which will feature the debut of the Cologne Gürzenich Orchestra and the very young pianist, just 18 years old, Ot Ortega, who is set to be the revelation of the season.

They will perform works by Scarlatti, Bononcini, Marcello, Corelli, and Handel.
Another debut in this series will be that of the Gürzenich Orchestra of Cologne, under the baton of conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada. Accompanied by soprano Christiane Karg, they will perform Wagner's opening to The Flying Dutchman ; Mahler's Symphony No. 1; and the final scene from Richard Strauss's Capriccio .
Ibercamera, which this year celebrates its 20th edition in Girona, has established itself in the classical music programming of the AuditoriAlso making his public debut in this private classical music series, a long-established fixture at the Girona Auditorium, will be French conductor Alain Altinoglu, who will lead the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. They will perform Malher's Ninth Symphony.
Other highlights include a performance by Pinchas Zukerman, who will offer his triple roles as violinist, violist, and conductor in a single concert for the first time. He will be accompanied on stage by the Warsaw Symphony Orchestra and violinist Fumiaki Miura, who will delight the audience with pieces by Bach, Mozart, and Dvorák.
