Val d'Orcia, The Literary Post Office Returns to Radicofani

From 5th to 6th July it returns to Radicofani, in Val d'Orcia, 'La Posta Letteraria', the largest book festival far from the big urban centers. Born in 2019 thanks to the Pyramid association, the festival takes place in Bosco Isabella, a romantic and esoteric garden of early Twentieth century, recognized as a Monumental Garden. In this unique setting, where nature and history intertwine, takes place the festival with free entry events. Saturday's program July 5th opens at 3.30 pm with Anna Katharina Fröhlich, translator and writer, who presents 'The plot of the invisible' (Mondadori), an intense memoir that tells the sentimental and intellectual bond with Roberto Calasso, offering an intimate look at the founder of Adelphi. A Federico Chiara, culture editor and director, will be interviewing her print of Vogue Italia. At 4.30 pm the director of Ansa Luigi Contu talks about 'Tomorrow will be late. April 25th of a fascist saved by the partisans' (Solferino), novel and investigation familiar, born from the discovery of the great-uncle's diary, RSI official. The director talks to the journalist Lorenza Foschini. At 5.30 pm Riccardo Cucchi, historical voice of the Rai sports journalism, presents 'Another football is still possible' (People), a eulogy of the most authentic dimension and inclusive of football, told by those who experienced it with passion and rigor throughout life. The interview is by Carlo Genta, journalist of Radio 24. The day closes at 6.30 pm, Giuliano Turone, magistrate and judge emeritus of the Court of Cassation, with 'Unspeakable Crimes. The Twenty Years of the Anti-State that wanted and covered up the massacres (1973-1993)' (Offstage), an investigative book that reveals the dark plots between deviant services, secret lodges and strategy of tension. The interview Gianni Barbacetto, journalist of Il Fatto Daily. Sunday 6th July we start again at 3.30pm with Marco Varvello, Rai correspondent from the United Kingdom, who presents 'London, the places of power. The return of the United Kingdom among the protagonists of global challenges' (Solferino), a reportage that intertwines politics, institutions and society to tell the story new British prominence on the world stage. The interview Maria Concetta Mattei, director of the School of journalism in Perugia. At 4.30 pm Franco Bechis, director of Open, introduces 'JD Vance, the deputy sheriff. The author talks with Enrico Mentana, director of the Tg La7. At 5.30 pm the journalist Roberta Scorranese presents 'Fluid. Evening. Closing the festival, at 6.30 pm, Alan Friedman, American writer and journalist, with 'The End of the Empire American. Guide to the New World Disorder' (The Ship of Theseus), a tight tale of the rise and fall of the United States United, from Roosevelt to Trump. Antonio Di Bella interviews him, journalist.
