Three days by bike on the Italian section of the Milan-Munich

MILAN - About thirty people will spend three days cycling, from 6 to 8 June, to test, from Bolzano to Milan, the stretch of the Milan-Munich cycle route. The route between the capital of South Tyrol and the Lombardy region, already largely passable, winds for over 300 kilometers through Alpine landscapes, plains, historical sites and naturalistic places. "The Milan-Munich cycle route, with its almost 200 kilometers in Lombardy, will promote cycling mobility by representing an important attraction, with the prospect of generating significant economic benefits for the territories involved - said the regional councilor for Infrastructure and Public Works, Claudia Maria Terzi, participating, in Bolzano, in the event 'Bike Track Test - Lombardy Region has supported the Milan-Munich from the beginning and is an active part in the realization of this project". The Lombard section of the Milan-Monaco involves the Camuna cycle path and follows the Oglio river to Lake Iseo, crossing the entire Biosphere Reserve (MaB - Unesco) and encountering numerous archaeological sites, castles, villas and natural parks along the way. The section between Sebino and Milan, 60% completed, includes the passage between Gaiano and Endine, then to Trescore Balneario to then continue on the Bergamo direction and meet, in the Milanese territory, the Naviglio Martesana, until reaching the Lombard capital.
