Places of the Heart: the Fai census of the most loved places in Italy

The FAI has submitted to Italians, as it does every year, a survey to discover the “Places of the Heart”, that is, the most loved places in the territory. The project is used to support restoration and cultural enhancement projects, to help the beauties voted by individual citizens, parishes, associations, Municipalities. From this year, the contributions made available are 700,000 euros, that is, 300,000 euros more than in previous editions. In this twelfth edition, more than 2 million votes were cast.
