Industry in Europe and Poland finds itself at a historically significant moment . The fate of modern, competitive production and, more broadly, the future of many industrial sectors on the Old Continent hangs in the balance. Europe has made decisive efforts not only to retain industry under pressure from regulation and high energy prices, but also to elevate strategically important, promising sectors to a higher level of international competitiveness.
The new industrial policy in Europe is intended to loosen the regulatory corset that reduces production efficiency and discourages investment in technologies and means of production, and to ensure access to stable, clean energy at prices that enable competition with producers from Asia and America.
Domestic industrial production in an unstable environment, amidst conflict and growing competition, has become a key factor in economic sovereignty and resilience . This is particularly important in sectors that impact defense potential and multifaceted security.
Competitiveness and productivity, independence and security are categories that are gaining importance, also in the context of the ongoing digital transformation and the technological race between the most developed economies. Knowledge and engineering competences, innovation and their commercialization, the use of breakthrough technologies in production – these are the factors that determine tomorrow's opportunities for economic development and quality of life.
See you in Katowice!
