Valenzi and Postwar Neapolitan Writers: Correspondence, Dedications, and Drawings on Display

The "Library Saturday" initiative will conclude with a study and discussion entitled "Postwar Neapolitan Writers: Correspondence, Dedications, and Drawings," also focusing on their relationship with Maurizio Valenzi. Special attention will be given to Luigi Compagnone, Luigi Incoronato, and Domenico Rea, as well as Mario Pomilio, Michele Prisco, and others. The 1960s and 1970s in Naples were marked by liveliness and cultural engagement. This was partly thanks to this group of writers who, through publishing and literary initiatives, contributed to the city's de-provincialization. After greetings from Lucia Valenzi , the professors of Contemporary Italian Literature at the University of L'Orientale, Laura Cannavacciuolo and Marco Borrelli , will discuss the issue.
