The Corps of Santa Cecilia offers its traditional concert this evening

August Eve with music in Valsassina. This evening, the Santa Cecilia Musical Band presents its now traditional Ferragosto Concert , an unmissable event. The event is scheduled for 9:00 PM in the picturesque setting of Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi in Barzio , the pearl of Valsassina, 769 meters above sea level and home to 1,272 inhabitants that swell in summer. It's a special opportunity to listen to the performances of the virtuoso instrumentalists of the Valsassina Musical Band, directed by maestro Iose Ratti, who, with passion and dedication, has prepared a program full of engaging and modern pieces. In addition to the instrumental music, the solo voice of Celeste Castelnuovo , a graduate in jazz singing, is worthy of note. She also appeared in the animated film Barbie and the Magic of Christmas, as well as in many other events and groups, including the J Green Vocal Band, the Godot Jazz Quartet, and the Italian swing quintet Lady Dillinger.
