TV, Paolantoni keeps his promise to Fazio: in furs on August 15th for the Scudetto.

No sooner said than done. He'd promised it on Fabio Fazio's show "Che tempo che fa," where he's a regular guest: "If Napoli wins the Scudetto, I'll parade in a fur coat on Ferragosto." And so today, actor Francesco Paolantoni showed up at 1 p.m. on Via Caracciolo, on Naples' seafront, to keep his promise, clad in a swimsuit and a fur coat. He walked a few meters in it, to the laughter of onlookers, all armed with cell phones to film the scene. The Neapolitan comedian had announced the promenade walk on his social media, setting the date for 1 p.m. and joking about the length of the performance. "It'll be from 1 p.m. to 1:01 p.m., so I can resist wearing the fur coat—naturally eco-friendly." And so it was: "Today," Paolantoni began, "Friday, August 15th, it will be 35 degrees, but I'm here to keep the promise I made to Fabio Fazio if Napoli had won the Scudetto. And that's what I'm doing. We must keep promises," he concluded the sketch—which immediately went viral on social media—before being refreshed by a restaurant owner with a cold drink. Paolantoni is no stranger to similar initiatives. For Napoli's Scudetto victory two years ago, the actor paraded, again on the Naples seafront, practically naked, covered only by a large pot of pasta and potatoes. Again, to keep a promise he made on TV. Someone asked him today what he'll do for a possible fifth Scudetto for Napoli. "I haven't thought about it yet," the comedian replied, "but not nudity, I've already given."
