Great success for the opening concert of 'Romagna in fiore' with Modena City Ramblers as protagonists

Faenza (Ravenna), May 10, 2025 - Great success at Castel Raniero for the first concert of 'Romagna in Fiore' , the Ravenna festival review that transforms the landscapes of our territory into open-air stages. The Modena City Ramblers group set the afternoon alight with their combat folk.

The 80th anniversary of the Liberation and the twentieth anniversary of their gold record 'Appunti partigiani' were the occasion to celebrate the values of anti-fascism between rock and punk contaminations and unconditional love for Irish folk. Surprise incursion and lots of joy for the son of art Mirko Casadei in an afternoon full of emotions.

And in collaboration with the MEI of Faenza, the opening was entrusted to the singer-songwriter from Forlì Martino Chieffo , who told of the flood and the restart with the song 'Terra mossa'.

The 'Romagna in Fiore' festival continues tomorrow, Sunday 11 May, at 4 pm at the Torre di Traversara with the singer-songwriter and pianist Raphael Gualazzi . In a quintet with Gigi Faggi, Mecco Guidi, Anders Ulrich and Gianluca Nanni, the musician from Urbino will perform in one of the places hardest hit by the flooding of the Lamone in September last year, when the images from the hamlet of Bagnacavallo became the dramatic manifesto of the fragility of the territories in the face of climate change.

The food stands are organized by A la mi manira di Traversara and the show venue can be reached by walking 2 km from the Bagnacavallo industrial area. Information on routes, guides and parking on the trailromagna.eu website.
