Music: Wardruna closes the "Beats of Pompeii 2025" festival.

The second edition of the "Beats Of Pompeii 2025" festival, directed by Peppe Gomez and promoted by the Ministry of Culture, the Pompeii Archaeological Park, the Municipality of Pompeii , and Scabec – Campania Region, concludes this evening with a resounding success and extraordinary live performances by Jean-Michel Jarre, Nick Cave, Bryan Adams, and Riccardo Muti . For its final performance of the BOP 2025 festival, the Pompeii amphitheater will host the Norwegian group Wardruna, world-renowned for their ancestral and spiritual music with a neo-folk feel. The dark and evocative atmospheres recall medieval sounds and Nordic traditions. Their concert is an emotional journey through ritual and nature, where every note resonates as a call to humanity's deepest roots. Wardruna , pioneers of Norwegian folk music with a ritualistic and evocative feel , will be performing at the Pompeian Amphitheater for a unique concert in Southern Italy, blending spirituality, music, and ancestral memory. The choice of this archaeological site is no coincidence: the band was keen to perform in this place steeped in history, ancient myths, and archaic influences that resonate perfectly with the essence of their sound. During the live performance, the band will present their new album, Birna.
