A busy return from the holidays for Edoardo and Pietro Riganti , the two brothers who specialize in motocross and grew up in the youth team of Martino Bianchi's Manettateam and are standard-bearers of the Motoclub Gorlese .

Last Sunday, August 31st, the Riganti brothers competed in the Rookies Cup in Castiglione del Lago, in the province of Perugia, an event attended by all the top Italian riders in the 85cc and 125cc classes . Pietro particularly shone, taking an excellent third place overall in the only heat contested by the 85cc class due to poor weather conditions on Saturday. Pietro, the youngest of the podium winners, after grabbing the holeshot with a lightning-fast start, rode an error-free heat on a particularly challenging track.

His older brother , Edoardo, struggled more, partly due to bad luck, which cost him fifth place in the first heat due to a technical issue . In the second heat, Edo Riganti took sixth place, confirming himself once again among the best young Italians in the 125cc class. The next appointment for the Manetta Team boys is already set for next weekend with a final round of the Italian Championship scheduled on the Fermo track in the province of Ancona.
