Ferragosto city trips. Aboard the Toti or among works of art.

Ferragosto at the museum, at the cinema, surrounded by music, or among the waves. The program—for those who must, have decided to stay in the city, or have chosen it as a destination—is rich and can be tailored to suit age and taste. The Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology opens its doors (from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm), which has just reopened tours of the Enrico Toti submarine, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary today. It will also be possible to visit the new exhibition "Fatte su Misura" (pictured), a tribute to the artisanal, engineering, and stylistic traditions of the Italian automobile, as well as the PlayLab for the little ones.

The "Milan, the Rising City" event also concludes tomorrow, stopping at Cascina Cuccagna, where a double set (at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, free admission) is scheduled by the quartet led by Swiss saxophonist Christoph Grab and completed by Nicole Johantgen (tenor and soprano saxophones), Maurizio Marsico (Hammond), and Elmar Frey (drums).
For those nostalgic for the sea, there's the Hawaiian Foam Party at Acquaworld in Concorezzo: non-stop water games starting at 10:00 a.m., and a Hawaiian Foam Party by night from 9:00 p.m., with music and fun until midnight. To round out the evening, enjoy a movie under the stars in the AriAnteo arenas (the program also includes Robert Guédiguian's The Thieving Magpie at the Fabbrica del Vapore and Gabriele Mainetti's The Forbidden City at the foot of the Royal Palace).
