Today we start from Viale Venezia

It's the big day of the 1000 Miglia: today at 12:30, the 420 cars competing in the 43rd edition of the re-enactment of the historic Red Arrow will set off from Viale Venezia in Brescia. A 1900 km journey that will take the crews from Brescia to Rome and back. In Brescia, the week of the 1000 Miglia had already begun on Sunday with the inauguration of the Village in Piazza Vittoria and, in the evening, with the Gaburri Trophy, the regularity competition that saw 94 crews registered for the 1000 Miglia 2025 and the Ferrari Tribute compete in a regularity race in the city centre of Brescia (the winners were Andrea Luigi Belometti and Cristian Ricca aboard a Lancia Lambda). Yesterday morning, at 11, the stamping began, blessed by the rain, as in the best tradition that associates the Red Arrow with showers. There was no shortage of onlookers, especially those looking to spot this year's VIPs, from Joe Bastianich driving a 1954 Porsche 356 1500 Speedster to chef Carlo Cracco, navigator for Ezio Ronzoni on a 1927 Bugatti T40, with sailors Max Sirena and Giulia Conti on a 1956 Alfa 1900 Super Sprint. The stamping, the last technical check before the start, will continue this morning until 11:30. At 12:30, the start along the route that will take the "traveling museum" between Desenzano, Sirmione, Verona, Bovolone and Ferrara, to then conclude the day of racing in San Lazzaro di Savena, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Bologna. The format, for the third consecutive year, will be 5 days and will follow the legendary pre-war races, following a “figure eight” route like the first 12 editions of the 1000 Miglia di velocità. Among the novelties of this year, also the passage from the Naval Academy of the Navy to Livorno. The return to Brescia, Saturday 21 June, will be welcomed by the Festa della musica.
