XXV edition of the Massimo Troisi Award, the celebration for the great Italian actor in San Giorgio a Cremano

The 25th edition of the Massimo Troisi Award – Observatory on Comedy, under the artistic direction of actor Gino Rivieccio , got underway on June 16 .

An award to keep alive the memory of the great actor but also an observatory of comedy in Italy. A living award dedicated to young people born 25 years ago, since in '96, two years after the actor's death, the first edition took place.

An important beacon on young talents and more, the "Massimo Troisi" Award, a true observatory on comedy in Italy, promoted by the city of San Giorgio a Cremano and financed by the Campania region.

Among the protagonists of this edition which will be held from 16 to 21 June: Peppe Barra, historical icon of Italian theatre, Nina Zilli , much loved by the younger ones.

Lifetime Achievement Award to Anna Mazzamauro , while among the guests of the Grand Gala, Ornella Muti , Andrea Sannino , and many others. The conduction is entrusted to Tiberio Timperi .

The categories in competition:

Best theatrical text , best film screenplay , best TV series writing , comedy and best student short.

Admission is free, upon reservation, and until seats are filled. Tickets can be booked through the portal www.premiotroisi.org . Shows start at 9:15 pm and Monday at 7:00 pm
