Bad Bunny sets the pace for the summer

Moroni
Summer continues, August begins, and the desire for music never stops. Our weekly playlist, now a summer tradition with Il Carlino, continues, and the song just released as the opening track of the weekly selection is "Baile inolvidable" by Bad Bunny: the artist has become a global phenomenon and, after conquering everyone with the album Un verano sin ti (2022), in January he released Debi tirar mas fotos, which is a candidate to be the most listened to album of 2025. The song pulled from the past, however, goes in a stubborn and contrary direction to Puerto Rican reggaeton: La ballata dell'amore cieco (o della vanità) by Fabrizio De André (it was the year 1966). Then a double hit, one all-Italian and one from outside Italy, respectively "L'estate sta finendo" by Righeira (it's a little early, but the rhythm is right) and Time by Jimmy Sax. Finally, as usual, the song chosen with sentiment: "Waves" by Mr. Probz carries you up and down like a wave during the early August holidays. Playlist: Baile inolvidable, Bad Bunny; The Ballad of Blind Love (or Vanity), Fabrizio De André; Summer is ending, Righeira; Time, Jimmy Sax; Waves, Mr. Probz.
