Artusian Festival in Forlimpopoli. The town celebrates its Master

Jun 29, 2025

On the second day, meeting with Maurizio Carucci and show cooking with Gianni Di Lorenzo
The 29th edition of the Festa Artusiana in Forlimpopoli (Forlì-Cesena) kicked off yesterday, and will liven up the hometown of Pellegrino Artusi, the father of Italian home cooking, every evening until Sunday 6 July.
Opening the program of the second day, today at 7 pm at Casa Artusi, will be Maurizio Carucci, singer of Ex-Otago, who will present his book 'Non esiste un posto al mondo: la storia di Cascina Barban'. At 8 pm the Premio Marietta 2024 Gianni Di Lorenzo (the title is awarded by the Mariette, the cooks of Casa Artusi who take their name from the assistant of the great gastronome) will hold a show cooking in the courtyard of the De Amicis schools, just in time to witness the coronation of the new king of amateur chefs, who will emerge from the final underway during the day.
If at 7 pm the 35 restaurants that animate the event open, at 8:45 pm the shows scattered around the historic center of the town begin: from the juggling of Berto di Strada to the jazz of the Black Coffee Trio, to the jokes of Andrea Vasumi's 'Cialtronight'. All in 'Artusian sauce' with a market of typical products, conferences on Food Intelligence and 'tasty' visits to archaeological finds.
