Anacapri Landscape Festival, Jumeirah Award: Here are the winners

As part of the 9th Annual Anacapri Landscape Festival, curated by Arianna Rosica and Gianluca Riccio, the winners of the inaugural Jumeirah Capri Palace Award were announced. The jury, chaired by Cristiana Perrella (president), director of the Macro, Rome Museum of Contemporary Art, and composed of the following members: Aldo Cazzullo, journalist and deputy editor of Corriere della Sera; Angela Tecce, president of the Donnaregina Foundation for Contemporary Arts / Madre Museum, Donnaregina Museum of Contemporary Art; Brunella Trimarco, president of the Tridama Foundation; and Ermanno Zanini, vice president of the Jumeirah Group and general manager of the Jumeirah Capri Palace, met at Villa San Michele to highlight two of the artists involved in the two sections of the Landscape Festival: Travelogue and Ruina.
Jumeirah Capri Palace Award, Travelogue section . Intensity, the ability to directly connect with the viewer, and the skillful use of moving images have determined the choice that awards the Masbedo duo the first Jumeirah Capri Palace Award, Travelogue section.
Jumeirah Capri Palace Award, Ruina Artists Under 35 section , in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and SIAE. Artists' sensitivity, perhaps more than anyone else's, has been challenged by the extraordinary times of the pandemic. For the artistic maturity with which the works are formalized, the jury awards Clarissa Baldassarri the Jumeirah Capri Palace Prize, Ruina section.
Honorable Mention . The jury unanimously appreciated the selection and curation work done by Arianna Rosica and Gianluca Riccio. It was therefore decided to give special mentions to artists Angelo Mosca for the Travelogue section and Irene Macalli for the Ruina section.
