On the stage at the Cave del Duca, the Salento-born singer not only bid farewell to the audience ahead of the birth of her first daughter, Penelope Maria, expected in September, but also received a marriage proposal from her partner Valerio Pastore. A romantic surprise, coming at the end of an already emotionally charged concert.

Valerio, a sound engineer, was waiting for Alessandra backstage, holding a bouquet of flowers and a ring hidden in his pocket. He led her to the stairs, knelt, and proposed. "Are you crazy?" she asked, visibly moved, before tearfully kissing him. Friends, family, and a few phones were all around, capturing the moment. "A little girl from Lecce with a big dream in her heart," she said from the stage. And that dream is now expanding: to motherhood and a future wife. Alessandra Amoroso, 38, announced her pregnancy last March with a post on Instagram: "A wonderful gift is growing inside me, she's shaking, waving, and jumping." Little Penelope has been with her throughout the tour, even when—between songs—the singer would pause to feel her baby move under her growing belly.
