A relay race unites the cities hit by terrorist attacks

Lest we forget : Brescia hosted the first leg of the relay race to remember the cities affected by the terrorist attacks : Milan, Brescia, and Bologna. At 4:45 PM, the Brescia runners, along with a representative from Bologna, set off from the Alpine headquarters in Roncadelle, heading into the city, where they reached Piazza della Loggia around 6 PM. The runners were joined by cyclists from Paciclica, Fiab, Us-Acli, and Per...corri la pace. They were welcomed by Councilor Marco Fenaroli, along with representatives from Uisp, Aics, Csi, Corrixbrescia, the unions, Anpi, and Fiamme Verdi, for the tribute to the Fallen in Piazza della Loggia. "Moments of Remembrance Lest We Forget" is, in reality, a slightly shorter version of the historic relay race, which was initially completed on foot. The updated version includes shorter routes and symbolic moments, like yesterday's. "The search for the truth is always a demanding process, requiring considerable commitment from both the public and state institutions, since the massacres have also seen cover-ups by state apparatuses," commented Fenaroli, who, as always, will be at Bologna station on August 2nd, representing Brescia.
