"Symphony of a Capital": The Pirandello Theater unveils its events calendar for Agrigento 2025.

AGRIGENTO – A journey through theater, music, art, and memory to celebrate Agrigento, Italian Capital of Culture 2025. The Teatro Pirandello presents the rich calendar of events of the “Symphony of a Capital” series, which from July to December 2025 will transform the cloister, the interior spaces, and the streets of the city into settings for unforgettable cultural experiences.

Among the highlights are theatrical performances, concerts, dramatized tours, urban entertainment, school matinees , meetings, and tributes. A program that blends tradition and modernity, showcasing local and national talent.

It kicks off on July 27th with a performance of "The Bell Cap," followed by one of the many stops on the "Discover the Theater" program, which will allow visitors to experience the soul of Pirandello with immersive nighttime tours. In August, the Cultural Gardens take center stage, with concerts (such as those by the Grande Sud Orchestra or Tom Sinatra), shows, and awards ceremonies, including "Photograph the Festival and San Calogero."

September hosts important events such as "Il Respiro dell'Arte," a tribute to Nino Bellomo , and the "Variazioni sul Mito" series, featuring classical texts reinterpreted by modern voices. Theatrical tours are back in October and November, while the Puppet Opera Matinees for schools also return, as well as a special evening dedicated to "Flavors, Colors, and Films."

December closes with the “Agrigento Città Teatro” initiative, which brings artistic entertainment to the heart of the city, and with the New Year's Eve Gala on December 30, which will symbolically conclude an extraordinary year of culture and participation.
