Dawn at Villa Carlotta. A special journey through nature and memory.

Villa Carlotta is preparing for two special events. The first is scheduled for July 24th at 9:30 a.m., with the special tour "In the Footsteps of Princess Charlotte." Before the opening to the public, in the hushed silence of the morning, a special tour of nature, art, and memory will take you on a discovery of the newly redeveloped area of the park, including rediscovered historic paths, centuries-old trees, and panoramic views. The tour will also include a site-specific work by artist Maria Dompè, which pays homage to Princess Charlotte of Prussia and, symbolically, "to all the women who were denied the opportunity to realize their dreams."

The event will be repeated on August 7th and 21st, and September 11th and 25th. On July 26th, at 10:30 a.m., there will be a Botanical Painting workshop. In the heart of the garden, participants will be guided in creating colors from flowers, leaves, fruits, aromatic herbs, and plant scraps. A simple and natural painting, born from living matter and transformed into an expressive gesture. The colors created during the workshop will be used to create bookmarks and paintings inspired by the landscape and current moods. Reservations are required for both workshops.
