“Napoletani nel Mondo Festival”: Tony Colombo guest of honor of the final evening

Tony Colombo , singer of melodies appreciated by Neapolitans around the world, several times at the top of the music charts with over 56 million views on the web and approximately 30 published albums, will be one of the guests of honor at the “Napoletani nel Mondo Festival”.

At the Troisi Theatre, on Wednesday 11 June, at 8.30 pm, he will receive the 'Career Award' during the event organised by HBBTV Napoletani nel Mondo .

On that occasion, the final evening of the festival – will be the baptism of the ten contestants who will compete on stage live on television.

Fresh from four sold-out evenings at the Palapartenope in Naples, with over fifteen thousand attendees, Tony Colombo will be in Palermo on June 28, with a concert at the “Paolo Borsellino” velodrome.

At the Teatro Troisi in Naples, presenters Magda Mancuso and Monia Palmieri will host the evening, which will see other high-ranking guests parade on stage. The Napoletani nel Mondo Award will also be given to the rapper “Priore” , an extraordinary interpreter originally from Caserta who – recounting the malaise and desire for redemption of young people in the South – has marked results on the web with tens of thousands of views.

“An alternation of genres entirely Made in Naples, which is good for music and for the promotion of our city on an international level”, – says Diego Paura , artistic director of the event, who also worked, with Magda Mancuso, on the selection of the young performers in the competition.

The Napoletani nel Mondo Festival Lifetime Achievement Award also went to Antonello Rondi , a great voice of the Neapolitan tradition.

Ciro Capano, an internationally renowned Neapolitan actor, will preside over the festival jury, assisted by the directors of Napoletani nel Mondo and by qualified exponents of the artistic scene, including the actor Angelo Di Gennaro , who has already been awarded the “Napoletani nel Mondo Prize” in the past.
