Hotel rate volatility is forcing corporate travel agencies to reconsider how they help clients source, negotiate, and manage hotel programs when the same corporate might face an 11% increase in one hub and stable or even declining rates in another.
American Express Global Business Travel’s newly released Hotel Monitor 2026 suggests global hotel rates will rise only modestly next year, but the averages conceal stark differences across markets.
