Meilhan-sur-Garonne: festive opening for the nautical stopover

Agathe and Pierre Gillot are taking over the management of the nautical stopover and campsite in Meilhan-sur-Garonne, with an opening evening planned for May 9
Agathe and Pierre Gillot have been selected to manage the tourist resort, water sports center, and campsite again this summer. Known as Les Platanes de Meilhan, this shaded spot, open to all since May 1st, naturally creates an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and leisure. "To make the most of it, we will have a diverse offering," the couple explains, "with a dining area offering Asian, Syrian, and American (burgers) cuisine, alternating depending on the day of the week, and seafood with oyster farmers on Sundays. A concert will be held twice a month on Sunday lunchtimes. Water sports with the association Les Canoës de Garonne will also be available."
Friday, May 9th will be the opening evening of the 2025 season: a guitar and vocal concert from 6 to 8 p.m., a happy hour (aperitif) and a DJ set are planned.
