Glass sex toys to put in the fridge: chill me some goodness

Sexuality is usually associated with warmth. Taking the opposite approach, the British firm Creative Conceptions, based in Newark, is launching this week, under the name Clarity, a complete range of translucent glass sex toys that can be put in the fridge, or even the freezer, to touch yourself while cooling down. Cold and pleasure: are they compatible? " Of course ," exclaims Lucy Robinson, head of marketing. "Using cold toys can definitely provide pleasure, as long as they aren't... too cold. "
The goal, she says, is to put the sex toy in the freezer and then use it like an ice cube, first moving it over the body's surface for a long time until it reaches a temperature compatible with the mucous membranes. " It can take an hour ," she says, emphasizing the idea that these products ultimately serve less as sexual tools than as "fun" accessories for " temperature play ."
Nothing new, apparently: the first toys made of borosilicate, or Pyrex glass, date back to the early 2010s. The Dreampipe brand, one of the pioneers, launched the Icicles range. " Very quickly, two factories in China specialized in production ," Miguel, owner of the Doll House boutique in Paris, explains over the phone. "Currently, these factories are flooding the market with models sold under various brand names." Glossy, Funzzee, SheVibe, Unbound, Love
