It's safe to say that the mobile phone hasn't weakened the art of snapping. On the contrary: a simple weekend with friends or a long week of vacation yields countless selfies , group photos, and landscape shots, all too often poorly framed. And when it's time to go home, everyone wants access to this pile of digital memories, piled up in a graveyard of thousands of other images that we rarely return to. A difficult dilemma then arises: should we centralize the photos in a single space open to all stakeholders, or should we share the most opportune shots one-on-one?

Over the past fifteen years, easy solutions have multiplied, depending on preferences. For Apple devices, AirDrop (a file transfer service launched in 2011 between computers, then smartphones, that are in close proximity, via Bluetooth technology) is the fastest option. The process is instantaneous and, above all, preserves image quality, without file compression—unlike sending photos via WhatsApp, Messenger, email, or SMS.

The most organized, eager not to harm anyone (and who have time to sort, store and classify photos in albums, sub-albums, etc.)
