As of September 1, the marketing of varnishes based on diphenyl trimethylbenzoyl phosphine oxide (TPO) will be banned in France. The substance is considered carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction by the General Directorate for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF).
