Ludivine Langlois, Miss Nièvre 2016, has revealed that she was the victim of sexual harassment while she was a candidate for the Miss Burgundy pageant. She claims to have been subjected to persistent and inappropriate advances from a photographer linked to the Miss Burgundy committee, in an article published on the website of Le Parisien-Aujourd'hui en France .

Before the evening of the regional beauty queen election, the candidates participated in photo shoots with a photographer commissioned by the regional committee. However, this man then sent several particularly intrusive text messages to the young woman. The national newspaper, which was able to consult these messages, cites some of them: "Are you still a virgin, Ludivine?", "Nice legs," "You know they make me dream," "You know, sometimes in a sexy outfit you don't leave me indifferent lol."

The young woman claims not to have spoken about the situation to the Miss Burgundy committee officials.

She chose to make public and denounce these facts while preparing to release a book signed by the last collaborator of Geneviève de Fontenay , long-time emblematic president of the Miss France committee, Hubert Guérin, which reveals facts of sexual violence against the candidates .
