Haute-Saône. Port-sur-Saône to the rhythm of world music and dance

Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, Colombia, Mexico…: eight international groups are on the bill for the 35th edition of Spectacles du Monde. A colorful fireworks display, a costume parade, and a cocktail of song and dance thrilled the heart of Port-sur-Saône on Tuesday, August 5, during the opening ceremony. Enjoy until Sunday.
Port-sur-Saône, a cantonal capital with a population of 3,000, about a dozen kilometers northwest of Vesoul, has made a name for itself through an event that has become a must-attend event in the department and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. An event that extends far beyond its borders, having already welcomed more than 100 countries, each bringing its own traditions, dances, songs, and costumes.
Born in 1990, the Folklore Festival has become Spectacles du Monde . But the spirit of this timeless event remains the same.
