Festival: the music factory at the Renaissance Theatre

Les Fabricants is a program initiated by the CNSMD in Lyon that allows Artist Diploma students to complete original and cross-disciplinary projects. Supported by the Théâtre de la Renaissance, it is the result of two years of residency that three young musicians will present to us during three unusual evenings.

The focus here is on the multidisciplinary or crossover aspect. Carla Guffroy and Camille Bonamy will present their creation based on the music of J.-S. Bach, performed on the viola but suddenly interrupted by the sudden appearance of a clown!

Heng Chen, originally from Taiwan, plays a more exotic instrument. The sheng, a traditional mouth organ whose pipes are nourished by the player's breath, embodies the spirit of the woods in a sound poem based on the Vox series of his own composition.

SelvaggiaMente, finally, is a musical show imagined by the Italian clarinettist Valentina Pennisi which takes the form of an initiatory performance skillfully mixing ancient, contemporary and electronic music, poetry and visual arts.
