The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced it has launched a new call for applications for the free delivery of vehicles that have been removed from its official inventory due to obsolescence or deterioration, in compliance with current regulations. However, who can apply and obtain one?
This initiative could be of great interest to the country's public entities through a process that aims to repurpose assets that no longer serve official purposes but could be useful in the development of administrative, academic, or training functions.
Interested institutions will have 30 calendar days to submit their applications from the date the notice is published on the Ministry's official website . Each application must include the form established by the entity, along with justification for the request and documents proving the legal representative. The deadline for submission is September 13.
It is important to note that vehicles will be allocated in strict order of receipt, provided they meet the requirements. If several entities apply for the same vehicle, priority will be given to the one that first expressed interest.(READ MORE: It's in Boyacá and almost no one visits it: the town with the best peeled corn arepas )

The current inventory includes a total of 10 vehicles, including Chevrolet Corsa Evolution cars, a Ford Fiesta, a Jeep Cherokee, Chevrolet Captiva Sport pickup trucks, and Suzuki DR 650 motorcycles. All vehicles will be delivered in their original condition and location, with no possibility of return, so the beneficiary entities must assume the costs of packaging, transportation, and transfer. The Ministry of Health specified that these assets may only be used for activities related to the institutional mission, academic projects, or training programs, and their use for private purposes is prohibited.
