Do you still have old video games? Some can be worth more than 4,000 euros.

Despite the proliferation of online platforms for buying and selling secondhand items, many people still have old movies, CDs, or video games. But even if you have them gathering dust in the closet, think about it, because they may have value.

The Daily Mail published an article this Saturday stating that some video game titles could fetch astonishing prices on the secondhand market.

Topping the list is Zelda Majora's Mask (Adventure Set) for Nintendo 64, which now has a massive estimated value of €4,400. Meanwhile, if you own a copy of Snowboard Challenge for NES, you could win €3,500.

Of course, in these cases, in order to sell the video games for those prices, it is necessary to have the original, as well as all the additional accessories that come with it.

"Most gamers opened their new games, played them nonstop, and never considered keeping the boxes they came in," an expert at the British home appliance chain Currys told the Mail . "For those who did, that decision could be worth thousands today," they added.

This is the list of the most valuable old video games:

  1. Zelda Majora's Mask (Adventure Set) for Nintendo 64: 4,400 euros.
  2. Snowboard Challenge for NES: 3,500 euros.
  3. Mega Man X3 for Super Nintendo: 2,900 euros.

  7. Mr. Gimmick for NES: 2,500 euros.
  8. Duck Hunt (Game of Variant) for NES: 2,400 euros.
