Allegro CEO Responds to Brzoska: We Respect All Agreements. This Is a Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit

As a reminder, a few days ago, InPost CEO Rafał Brzoska announced that the company had filed a case against Allegro with an arbitration court. The owner of the parcel locker network imposed a PLN 98.7 million fine on Poland's largest e-commerce platform for making it difficult for customers to choose their delivery options.
"This is an action that is not only inconsistent with the spirit of the agreement, but also contrary to the interests of end customers whose preferences were manipulated at the transaction stage. We learned of this practice from users. We assessed a PLN 100 million penalty, which Allegro failed to pay, so, as stipulated in the agreement, we went to arbitration," said Rafał Brzoska.
Allegro considers the claims to be unfounded.
Allegro respects and fulfills all agreements. "We are not in dispute with anyone.""We respect all agreements first and second, we implement them. This applies to all companies; we treat every partner or supplier the same way. We don't consider ourselves in any business dispute with anyone, " Marcin Kuśmierz told reporters, as quoted by the PAP Biznes website.
"We've been developing our Allegro Delivery program for over a year, and we already have DHL and Orlen Paczka. We're also open to other companies," added the Allegro CEO.
Kuśmierz pointed out that Allegro is simultaneously developing its own infrastructure and inviting additional logistics players to join the Allegro Delivery program. He assured that the program is absolutely not targeted at any entity.
